Actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg could potentially retire from her post at daytime talk show ‘The View’ when her contract ends at the end of the season–but that just leaves space open to tackle bigger projects.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Goldberg is partnering with Bravo to develop a TV drama that centers around a Harlem crime boss.

‘The Color Purple’ star is on board to executive produce the show with her One Ho Productions president, Tom Leonardis.

Rumor has it, Goldberg may take on the roll of the Harlem crime boss herself.

We will be looking out for this one!
