Melonie’s Instagram testimony has gone viral. While wearing her cap and gown from Emory Law School she shared that growing up, she was in special education classes however, she excelled in high school and in college.
Despite having excellent grades, Melonie shares that she soon found herself pregnant and in an abusive relationship. She even had a stint of homelessness and often had little to no money while in law school as a single mother.
Now that’s she’s withstood life’s storm, Melonie is sharing her story in hopes of being an inspiration to others.
“If my life means anything, it means that God is alive and He is walking with my imperfect, broken, messed up past self. He took my brokenness and exchanged it for His peace. He told me to do this, and He never failed me or my daughter” said Melonie.
