With New York Fashion Week coming to a close, our Instagram feeds have been blowing up with the newest collections from our favorite designers, beauty trends for Spring, and of course some MAJOR trolling. And by major, we mean someone done lost their damn minds!

On Wednesday night, MAC uploaded a photo to their Instagram of an OHNE TITEL model while backstage at the premiere of their fall line. The photo is a close-up of a Black model’s lips accentuated by a deep purple lipstick.

While we commend MAC for highlighting one of the many features that adds to a Black woman’s magic, there were a number of Internet trolls who spewed hate and showed their ignorance ass.

One user wrote under MAC’s post, “Holy shit I thought this was Jay Z.” Whereas others were bold enough to even use the term “n*gga lips” to describe the photo.

WAYMENT. So, a Black woman’s NATURAL features such as full lips are considerably ugly but you’re pressed to look like Kylie Jenner?

Black beauty is bold, versatile, and repeatedly co-opted by mainstream media as the newest “trend.” Here are 5 reasons why Black women’s lips are undoubtedly the sh*t:

We Have The Perfect Pout

There’s no need for fillers when you’re lips are clearly designed by the hands of God.

They’re Totally Kissable

Who has ever complained about kissing the full lips of a Black girl?

We Can Rock Any Shade Of Lipstick

Matte lipstick, lipgloss, and even Blistex are taken up a notch when placed on the lips of a Black woman.

They Only Add To Our Godly Features

In addition to flexing our complexion and being blessed with the ability to never age, our lips are like the cherry on top of an ice-cream sundae.

Clearly, Every Celeb In Hollywood Wants Them

From Kylie Jenner to Britney Spears, celebs have shelled out thousands to emulate the natural features of Black women. But here’s a tip: you can’t buy #BlackGirlMagic.
