Prayers Up! Devon Still’s Daughter Suffers Complications In Cancer Treatment
Leah Still, daughter of Devon Still has suffered complications in her stem cell treatment.
Devon took to Instagram yesterday to ask that you pray for his daughter, as he “waits for everything to return to normal.” The Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle has been very forthcoming about his daughter’s illness since the little girl was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer called neuroblastoma in 2014. Neuroblastoma is said to develop from premature nerve cells and is usually most common in young children.
MUST READ: Devon Still’s Daughter Leah Is Officially In Remission!
Still has been documenting his daughter’s treatments since her fight against cancer began. During the 2014 football season last year, the Bengals even fundraised over $1 million to honor Leah’s fight. The little girl was in remission since March and was said to be doing well, so this comes as very sad news for the Still family and sports fans everywhere who have been following the updates, rooting for Leah to come through.
The good news, however, is that the doctors have caught the complications early so hopefully, this is just a speed bump on the way to a full recovery, and the journey can come to a happy end. Either way, keep Leah in your thoughts and prayers today.
