Now That Vivica A. Fox Signed On For ‘Independence Day 2,’ We Might Watch It

When we first heard Will Smith passed on joining the sequel of “Independence Day” (because they couldn’t afford him), we were unsure about seeing the movie since most remakes usually suck. But, we’re having second thoughts now that Vivica A. Fox announced she signed on to film the alien flick.
Vivica made the announcement on Instagram:
While Will Smith’s character Steven Hiller won’t be returning, his son Dylan, who will be played by Jessie Usher (“Survivor’s Remorse”) will have a starring role alongside Liam Hemsworth. Vivica and Jeff Goldblum will reprise their original roles while newcomers David Levinson and Charlotte Gainsbourg make their end of the world debut.
“Independence Day” isn’t looking so bad after all.
