Jermaine Dupri & R. Kelly Lose Their Homes
Damn.
Jermaine Dupri and R. Kelly appear to be facing some financial difficulty. According to reports, JD’s Atlanta home was sold after many attempts at foreclosure by the bank.
In related news, R. Kelly also lost his home. The “Black Panties” singer tried to sell lavish mansion back in 2011, but was unsuccessful. Eventually, Kelly’s home was sold back to the bank for $950,000 (Kelly originally took out a $3.5 million loan to purchase the mansion). While the bank is in possession of the home, Kelly is still responsible for the unpaid mortgage payments. Last month, Kelly was slapped with a $2,922,202.99 judgement and ordered to pay what he owed.
Just in time for the holidays.
