Apollo Skips Prison To Fight With Phaedra

If you thought Apollo and Phaedra’s marriage was on the rocks before, wait until you hear this!

The “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” husband was scheduled to turn himself in to authorities Wednesday (to begin his eight year sentence for bank fraud and identity theft) when he decided to take a detour and have a word with Phaedra instead.

Apollo allegedly went to Phaedra’s home where they got into a heated fight over money. “It was such a surprise, because he showed up while he was already supposed to be behind bars at a federal prison in Lexington, Kentucky,” a source told PEOPLE. “The police were called, but he left on his own. The whole incident was caught on camera.”

According to reports, Apollo grew enraged when Phaedra allegedly refused to put money on his books. Apparently, it’s a reoccurring issue in their marriage. “He would show up at her office screaming at her and demand money,” a source said. “Over the last two months, he’s dropped thousands of dollars at strip clubs, drinking, and partying – and spending virtually no time with his children.”

Another source claims, “Apollo has always had a hard time dealing with Phaedra’s success [as an attorney]. She’s always been the breadwinner” and added “their marriage is very strained. But right now, Phaedra just wants to do right by her two boys.”

Apollo turned himself in today.
