It seems like just yesterday that we found out that Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson were a thing and now rumors are swirling that the two lovebirds are ready to call it quits! But, Evan just said that she’s the one! It’s being reported that Evan’s mom, the legendary Diana Ross doesn’t want her son with the former pop star.
A source tells Star Magazine:
“Diana Ross doesn’t want Ashlee’s hard partying lifestyle to rub off on Evan. Diana’s worried that Ashlee will bring him down,” reveals a close family friend.
Indeed, during a recent flight the couple were on, pals say Ashlee, 29, was a drunken mess. “She was dancing wildly around first class,” says the insider. “She was such an embarrassment.”
