Nick Cannon Has Awkward With His Ex-Fiancée On Talk Show

Nick Cannon had a run-in with his ex-fiancée during recent visit on Katie Couric’s talk show.

According to reports, the “Real Husbands of Hollywood” star was seated next to Selita Ebanks during an episode of Katie. In efforts to soothe the awkwardness, the former Victoria Secret model turned to Nick and said, “Hi, how are you?”

“So we’ll just clear this all up,” Nick shared with the audience. “We used to be engaged, so it’s not an awkward moment. They’re laughing that we’re sitting next to each other.” After putting his arm around Selita, he added, “But we’re cool. We’re friends.”

If you don’t recall, the former lovebirds ended their longtime romance in October 2007. And just seven months later, Nick said “I do” to his now-wife Mariah Carey.

Couric suggested, “Maybe we should have put you guys on different chairs.” But, the 30-year-old beauty said there was no need for that. She joked that Nick’s hot pink suit would have clashed with another guest’s red dress.

Nick chimed back in, “What? You didn’t want to sit next to me?”

We are glad to see they could laugh about the whole thing.
