Now that George Zimmerman is a free man, one of the jurors (recognized as “Maddy”) from the controversial trial is now having second thoughts about the jury’s verdict. During an interview on Inside Edition’s with Les Trent this week, Maddy said, “We all know who’s guilty. George Zimmerman thinks he didn’t do anything wrong.” Maddy is the same juror who told Robin Roberts that Zimmerman got away with murder. Maddy continued, “At the end of the day, he’s going to have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with. [But] the law couldn’t prove it.”

Maddy is claiming that her life is in shambles after being on the jury for the Zimmerman trial. She’s lost friends who distanced themselves away from her after the verdict and has even lost her job at a nursing home. Maddy says she and her husband have to sell their possessions to make ends meet, including their kitchen table. She says they now have to eat on the floor and are only a few days from having to live in homeless shelters because they can’t afford their home.

“Emotionally, mentally, physically, I’m so drained. I can’t stop thinking about the case,” Maddy said. “I have a heart. I got to hold the gun that killed this boy. I saw pictures I didn’t need to see.”

Who knew that being on a trial that resulted in a man getting away with murder could ruin more than just the victim’s family’s life? We truly feel bad for the juror, but we’re wondering if she could have done something differently in the deliberations?
