This month, why don’t you embark on a road trip through Fall’s Foliage, get some quality time with Mother Nature and capture pictures that will make people’s jaws drop!
Here are five of my favorite options from The Travel Channel’s Travel’s Best list!
Route 112, New Hampshire
Professional Fall Foliage photographer, Jeff Folger calls this, “The grand dame of Foliage routes.” Known to many as the mecca when looking to experience the season change, there is no doubt that pictures taken here will get you hundreds of likes on your Instagram. If you have enough time, head to the Kancamagus Highway in NH; this 34.5 mile scenic drive is definitely worth the time.
Hudson Valley, New York
This wonderful place boasts mountain views, wine trails, historic estates and shopping. You can cruise the Hudson River or stop in at the farmer’s markets and antique shops as you drive. Travel host, Samantha Brown says, “New York’s Hudson Valley has some of the most beautiful land you will ever set your eyes on.” She also recommends using route 82 and 44 in Salt Point, NY as your bookends (but be sure to explore all the roads in between).
