SAD NEWS: 10-Year-Old Texas Girl Accused Of Raping 4-Year-Old Boy

A 10-year-old girl from Houston, Texas was arrested for allegedly raping a 4-year-old boy in her apartment complex.

According to KHOU News, the incident was reported in April and the young girl was arrested and transported to a juvenile justice complex last week. At the facility, she was fingerprinted, issued a jumpsuit and locked up for four days.

“Me and my mom were crying and then she took me to the police car,” the schoolgirl said. “I didn’t want to get in.”

The mother, who remains anonymous, did not deny that her daughter touched the boy inappropriately, however, she claimed they were just being kids.

“She was just being a child, having fun and playing,” she told reporters. “She didn’t know she was doing anything wrong.”

“This was nothing more than inappropriate horseplay,” Quanell X said, a local activist who stepped in to defend the family. “That’s what this was. That’s gone a little bit too far and criminalizing a 10-year-old child.”

Her mother described the whole ordeal as “a nightmare.”

“I’m not saying that she didn’t. I’m not saying she did, but she’s still a child,” she added. “Just to see her looking through those bars screaming for me to get her out was a nightmare.”

According to the Houston Police Department, a juvenile sex crimes investigator was assigned to the case. If convicted, the young girl will be registered as a sex offender.
