Photos of Dutchess Lattimore tweaking on the pole may have gone viral, but the “Black Ink Crew” star is denying all stripper claims.

The tattoo artist set the record straight in a recent interview with Vh1, claiming that her appearance and performance at King of Diamonds strip club in Miami was all for charity.

“I am NOT working at KOD as a dancer and times are definitely NOT hard for me,” Lattimore said, denouncing rumors that she switched careers due to financial troubles. “I make more money off camera than I make on TV to be quite honest.”

She went on to say that all of the proceeds from the event went to her no-profit organization, GunPlay.

“My charity serves women in battered women’s shelters as well as young girls in runaway homes. What will never be covered by the media is the charity work I just did — such as sponsoring several girls in my home state for their prom festivities — nor will any of my other upcoming charity projects,” she said. “Why? Because most people find it more entertaining to tear a person down. Which is exactly why I danced at KOD, because I want to remove ALL stigmas about women.”

Do you think performing for amatuer night is a good way to raise money for a women’s charity?
