The latest episode of “Braxton Family Values” was drama free but full of shenanigans from our favorite Braxton sisters. The girls gathered together to pay respects to the family’s deceased dog, Jackson, Mommy celebrated her birthday and made a big announcement that would change the dynamics of their family! Find out what happened below:
Saying Goodbye To Jackson, The Dog
Mommy’s puppy, Jackson, recently passed away and Mommy was very distraught over her loss. You might be thinking that it’s JUST a dog, but Mommy was very attached to Jackson especially since her grand kids gave her the dog as a present and he was a part of her life for the past six years. The whole family gathered together at a funeral home to pay their respects to their fallen puppy (who was cremated by the way).

The ceremony was really cute and some of the family members got up to speak about Jackson’s life and how greatly he would be missed. Although Tamar has openly expressed her dislike for dogs (especially her own dog, Miracle), she got up and did sweet rendition of a song, “Dear Dog”, which forced the whole family to break out into a song.
Leave it to Tamar to turn up at a funeral!
Mommy’s Big Announcement
After the funeral, the family gathered together again for lunch and Mommy announced that she would be moving to Los Angeles to live with Tamar during her pregnancy. Of course, Tamar and Toni were very excited to have Mommy close to them for a while especially after Mommy’s big health scare on last week’s episode.

Mommy decided that her youngest daughter needed her the most during her pregnancy and she wanted to be there to help her get through it. Towanda on the other hand, wasn’t that excited about Mommy’s news and felt like Tamar and Toni were stealing Mommy away!
Trina and Gabe decided that this was a good time to tell the family that they were also thinking about moving to Los Angeles but were waiting to hear back from her son’s college before they made their big move. Trina believed that moving to Los Angeles would be the best thing for her career and if her son got accepted into college out there, it would make the move even better.
Happy Birthday, Mommy!
Finally it was time for Mommy’s big birthday party. The girls have been preparing their big surprises for Mommy for a while and it was time to show them off. Towanda’s daughter, Brooke, decided to show off her ballerina skills for her grandmother at the birthday party but when the time came to perform, she was shy and forgot her steps! Mommy still loved Brooke’s performance, even though she had a little bit of stage freight.

Traci also planned to surprise Mommy by arriving to the birthday bash in style on a new motorcycle! But when she failed to get her license before the party, that plan failed horribly! Even though the girls couldn’t pull off their surprises for Mommy’s party, they still got up and sang for her and the rest of the family–a Braxton family tradition. Gotta love them!
