According to Joseline, she was born in Puerto Rico. “I’m Puerto Rican,” she said. “I was born in Puerto Rico, and I left Puerto Rico when I was 10, and I went to Florida.”

Joseline became a stripper when she was just a teenager to help her struggling immigrant family, of which she was one of six children. “I knew that I didn’t want to do that,” she said of being an exotic dancer. “I want to be an artist. I want to be a singer. I want to be a rapper. I want to be a model. I want to be on TV, but, at that time, my family was struggling and I had to help.”
