Beyonce & Jay-Z Named Music’s First Billion Dollar Couple
Beyonce Knowles and husband Jay-Z, have just become music’s first billion-dollar couple, according to the International Business Times.
Beyonce reportedly now brings in more money than Jay, 43, and together the couple are now worth 1 billion dollars.
The 31-year-old singer who was recently made the face and body of H&M’s summer bikini collection and is expected to rake in approximately $116 million from her “Mrs Carter” world tour. Those earnings have helped her and Mr. Carter join the billionaire club.
The couple married in 2008 and gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter last year. They were named the highest paid celebrity couple of 2012 by Forbes.
