Last night #TeamBeautiful hosted an intimate conversation with the mother of reality TV, Mona Scott-Young. Mona spoke candidly about the backlash she’s received from her shows, balancing family and work life, and being a black women in the business.
I’m woman enough to admit to you that I was one of those judgmental viewers questioning her business tactics. I even stopped watching the first installment of Love & Hip-Hop because of the foolery that always seemed to happen. But after listening to her defend her brands with sincerity, I found a new level of respect for the former music executive.
