Lil’ Kim Hints At New Deal With Diddy On Remixed Rihanna Track
Well that was interesting. I just finished listening to Lil’ Kim‘s remixed version of Rihanna‘s club-banger “Pour It Up” and I’m sort of excited and confused at the same d**n time. First things first–Kimmy Blanco’s boyfriend Mr. Papers debuts his rapping skills on the collaboration. Not so impressed. However, I am excited about Lil Kim’s verse. No not the lyrics, I hear steaks at Ruth Chris are overrated, but for the first time in years she actually sounds like the Lil’ Kim we came to love in the 90s! There’s potential people!
Other than that, the cover is just horrid. Despite the off-key auto tuned vocals, I still love the Queen B! And, it looks like she and Diddy signed a deal! For what? now that’s the big question. Rap-Up reports that it is a Ciroc deal but I’m hoping it has to do more with her music than liquor. Diddy has this ability to bring out the best out of an artist, so I’m hopeful the man who helped start her career aids in jump starting it back up!
