What happens when you mix some of entertainment’s most talented and hottest acts in one show? “VH1 Divas,” that’ what! A show designed to celebrate that inner fierceness that is diva and let it shine.
It’s a star-studded night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles where celebs like Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Jordin Sparks, Melanie Fiona have hit the stage! Jordin Sparks, Ledisi and Melanie Fiona were spotted, earlier today, practicing for the highly anticipated Whitney Houston. Vh1 said “If you heard them casually harmonizing like I did as they practiced ‘How Will I Know’ you’d know I’m not exaggerating.”
Brandy introduced the Whitney tribute which then started with a montage of the fallen entertainer’s dance songs and videos. Everything from “Queen Of The Night” to “It’s Not Right It’s OK,” flashed across the screen and it reminded just how special Whitney is.
“Sparkle” co-star Jordin took to the stage first, followed by an enthusiastic Melanie Fiona. Ledesi took on Whitney’s “How Will I Know” in a sequins get up that accentuated her amazing body.
Ciara let her inner diva loose to the sweet sounds of Michael Jackson.
Kelly Rowland was the perfect woman to handle the job of channeling Donna Summers. That hair, that sex appeal. Get it Kelly!
