Iman To Launch BB Crème For Women Of Color
There’s a reason why many women of color aren’t versed with the term BB Cream. BB cream is an all-in-one facial cosmetic product meant to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. You can wear it as a a tinted moisturizer, or under your foundation, depending on the desired amount of coverage. The problem is, few brands cater to skin tones for women of color. Maybelline may work for you IF you’re on the light brown side of black.

“I said if I can’t find one to match me then there’s a problem because I’m really in the middle. But I couldn’t [find one],” Iman told WWD.
Aimed at filling a major void in this beauty trend, Iman will debut her own line BB creams that will be formulated specifically for our skin concerns including hyper pigmentation and discoloration. They will launch in December and retail for $20. How’s that for “put your money where you mouth”?
These are definitely going on my wish list for Christmas.
