PRESS PLAY: Mary J. Blige & Prince Join Forces For “Nothing Compares 2 U” & “Sweet Thing” [VIDEO]

Musical genius Prince joined Mary J. Blige on stage at her iHeart Radio performance in Vegas over the weekend. Mary was almost all the way through her rendition of Chaka Khan’s “Sweet Thing” and then stopped the track to say, “I got a real good friend in the building. He’s one of the most amazing artists to ever walk the earth.”

The Purple One glided on to the stage in an expected, but unique ensemble, complete with yellow bell bottoms and golden Lady Gaga-esque sunglasses. Once Prince laced “Sweet Thing” with his guitar, Mary then asked the legendary crooner to sing one of her favorite tunes, “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
