Idris Elba, Don Cheadle, Loretta Devine & Maya Rudolph Nominated For 2012 Emmy Awards
The 2012 Primetime Emmy nominations were announced this morning in Los Angeles and Idris Elba, Don Cheadle, Loretta Devine and Maya Rudolph are among the contenders.
“Scandal” star Kerry Washington and late night host Jimmy Kimmel, who will host the 64th Prime Time Emmy Awards, announced the nominees.
Don Cheadle is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series for his role as Marty Kaan of Showtime’s House of Lies.
Loretta Devine is nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress In A Drama Series for her role as Adele Webber on the long-running series Grey’s Anatomy.
Idris Elba is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Miniseries Or A Movie for his work as John Luther in the BBC America series Luther.
Maya Rudolph of SNL fame was nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress, Comedy.
