The rumor that Idris Elba will play Nelson Mandela has been circulating on the web for at least a month or so, today we can confirm that it is official…Idris has signed on to play iconic civil rights leader Nelson Mandela in the biopic Long Walk to Freedom.He states that the film will highlights Mandela’s early life, coming of age, education and 27 years in prison.
