No Charges In Case of Texas Girl Who Was Injured By Rope Around Neck On School Trip

Blanco County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office stated they found no evidence to hand down criminal charges against students who were accused of tying a rope around a Black Waco girl’s neck during a school field trip.

According to KHOU, the report stated that classmates from Live Oak Classical School who witnessed the incident were interviewed, but they had different accounts of what happened. Some said the rope whipped around her neck, while others said it was the 12-year-old’s fault because she fell toward the swing, causing the rope to wrap around her neck.

An 12-year-old’s lawyer has always maintained the attack was racially motivated and was the result of her client being bullied by other students at the predominantly White school.

As HelloBeautiful previously reported, on April 28, the children were playing with a rope swing attached to a tree and when it was her turn, she became tangled in the rope, which she believes was due to the students who were “helping” her swing. She claims none of the students came to her aid when she fell to the ground with pieces of the rope stuck in her neck.

In June, the victim’s family filed a $3 million in damages to cover the cost of medical expenses, physical pain, mental anguish, disfigurement, impairment, loss of use, and enjoyment of life of their daughter.

Donald Trump: ‘Obama Is The Most Ignorant President In History’

In a bizarre rally in Florida on Wednesday, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump made some pretty outrageous claims. According to The Grio, Trump told the crowd President Barack Obama, an Ivy League graduate with a law degree, was the “most ignorant president in history.”

“I think President Obama has been the most ignorant president in our history. His views of the world, as he says, don’t jive, and the world is a mess,” Trump ranted. “He will go down as one of the worst presidents in the history of our country, and I believe Hillary Clinton will be even worse.”

Boy, bye.

During this same speech, Trump continued his attacks against his opponent, Hillary Clinton, calling her “crooked” and defended law enforcement when asked about police brutality and the unjust deaths of African-Americans.

“If the police do 100,000 great jobs and they have one either rogue policeman or a cop was poorly trained or did a bad job you see that incident on television for weeks …” he said. “You don’t see the good work they do. You see one mistake they make out of 100,000; it’s on television night after night after night.”

And in what some have said could be labeled treason, Trump also thanked Russia for allegedly leaking the DNC emails to Wikileaks and even doubled down by propositioning them to find Clinton’s missing emails.

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump said during a news conference here in an apparent reference to Clinton’s email scandal. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Sigh. And people still want to vote for him. We hope the CIA and FBI are paying attention.

Yaaaaaas … Samira Wiley Joins The Cast Of New Hulu Series ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’

Sadly, Poussey may be gone, but actress Samira Wiley‘s career continues on. She has been recently cast in Hulu’s upcoming show Handmaid’s Tale

Samira will share the screen with Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss in this sci-fi drama that takes place in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly part of the U.S. Facing environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, Gilead is ruled by a twisted fundamentalism that treats women as property of the state, The Hollywood Reporter describes. Elizabeth’s character is one of the last fertile women and is forced to be a handmaid — a sexual servant — in hopes to repopulate the world. Samira will play Elizabeth’s best friend from college, THR noted.

Sounds pretty interesting. Beauties, will you be watching?
