Afeni Shakur, Mother Of Tupac, Dead At 69

Afeni Shakur, the mother of late rapper Tupac, died Monday night, People Magazine reports. She was at 69-years-old.
The Main County Sherrif’s office reportedly responded to an emergency report of a possible cardiac arrest at Davis’ Sausalto, California home at 9:30pm Monday night.
She was transferred to the hospital where she died at 10:28 pm. The coroners office will be investigating the exact cause of her death, the Sheriff’s office said.
The former Black Panther activist was the subject of one of Tupac’s most memorable hits, “Dear Mama.”
