FYI: Don’t Ask Kelly Rowland Questions About Beyonce And “Lemonade”
While Kelly Rowland and Beyonce will forever be connected through their thirty year friendship and their legendary girl group, Destiny’s Child, Kelly is definitely her own entity.
The 35-year-old’s current gig is as the creator, director and executive producer of the new docu-series, Chasing Destiny. Kelly is also a philanthropist having partnered with Claritin to help the Boys & Girls Club to revitalize playgrounds across the country.
During an interview with WGN Chicago that was supposed to be promoting her charity work, Kelly had to politely shut down questions about Queen Bey’s “Lemonade“.

Dean Richards: All the talk this week has been about Beyonce’s new album. Have you heard it yet? Have you had an opportunity to get some thoughts on the whole thing?
Kelly Rowland: I sure have. It’s great. It’s absolutely great.

KR: Yes, really different.

KR: But getting back to what I’m here to talk about, Claritin. I’m very excited to be teaming up with Claritin and the Boys & Girls Club of America.
