Mariah Carey is never short of always doing too much. And her latest move is bold, but makes sense from an precautionary point of view.

According to TMZ, the singer has insured her vocals and legs for a hefty amount. They report that Mariah got a $35 million insurance policy for her voice, and another policy of equal amount for her legs— $70 million in total. And apparently, the monthly premium is super expensive… in the many thousands of dollars, but it’s worth it.

The 46-year-old is currently on her The Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour global tour, and booked a four-month residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. She’s also planning a wedding to fiance James Packer— and subsequent final divorce from Nick Cannon.

With all the traveling and performances, there’s definitely no room for shenanigans. And if insuring her vocal cords and legs makes her feel more secure, then hell, we’re here for it too.

And while Mariah’s at it, she should insure that 35-carat $7.5 million engagement ring she wears on stage every night as well.
