Kerry Washington Discusses Divorce Rumors, By Not Discussing Divorce Rumors

Kerry Washington is one of the few stars to completely keep their personal life under wraps. Somehow, paparazzi has failed to capture intimate moments between her and her husband, and none of us have really seen her daughter.

And that’s just the way she likes it.

During a SXSW panel, the actress discussed divorce rumors while simultaneously not saying anything:

“If I don’t talk about my personal life, it means I don’t talk about my personal life,” she explained to E! “That means not only did I not tell you when I was getting married, it also means if somebody has rumors about what’s going on in my marriage, I don’t refute them, because I don’t talk about my personal life.”

Washington went on to explain that she’s just not the type to ‘do it for the ‘gram’ (ahem, Ciara and Russell):

“Social media has actually been great for [other celebrities’] relationships with the weeklies or the gossip sites because people say things and they say, ‘That’s not true! Just so you know, that’s BS!’ I say ‘BS’ because it’s Sunday. So I’m thinking in some ways, it’s been great because people are able to maintain their voice.”

So in short beauties, don’t expect to know anything about Ms. Kerry beyond her roles…ever.
