Meek Mill Donates Water Bottles To Save Flint, Michigan

Meek Mill’s name has been dragged through the gutter recently for the petty rap battles between him and, well, everybody. Along with hip-hop beef, the “Dreams And Nightmares” artist is also facing jail time for violating probation.

But luckily, this story isn’t about all that.

The rapper donated 60,000 bottles of water to the people of Flint, Michigan, whose water systems are ransacked with contamination, and we’re like, yes Meek.

The 28-year-old donated to the Flint Child and Family Development fund along with the water bottles to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Vibe reports.

Now that’s how you make your name sparkle again. Now stop with all the petty!

LisaRaye McCoy has been working hard to promote her new movie “Skinned,” a documentary that sheds light on black women who are bleaching their skin.

The actress sat in the director’s chair for the new project, hoping to help women accept themselves and avoid harming their natural hue in a search for white acceptance.

During her media tour, the actress sat down with Big Tigger to discuss the controversial film, and she called out a Cameroonian pop singer Dencia, who owns a skin care company called Whitencious.

Whitencious…really? What kind of name-brand self hate is that?

McCoy claimed the product causes skin cancer and also makes people look crazy (with dark knuckles and elbows).

Dencia clapped back asking for an immediate retraction of the claims, saying there is no evidence to link her lotion to cancer or discoloration.

TMZ reached out to McCoy’s camp, and they are standing by their statement.

We are glad the 48-year-old is sticking to her guns, but she better get some receipts before she lands in court.

Killer Mike is not here for anyone coming for his boy presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders.

The rapper addressed author and culture critic Ta-Nehisi Coates for the statements he made about Bernie Sanders’ stance on reparations.

Coates slammed Sanders in an article posted in The Atlantic, explaining that the senator’s PC response to the reparations debate was an outlier in his socialist campaign.

The producer defended his favorite candidate, saying the question was not fair, and Sanders is still the clearly the best man (or woman) for the job:

We’re like, Sanders is running for president. No answer should be left unscrutinized. But we love how hard he rides for his boy.

Jason “Jace” Alexander (this isn’t the same bald-headed guy from Seinfeld, but the Law & Order director) has pled guilty to child-porn charges.

The 51-year-old plead guilty for possessing child porn almost a year after his arrest.

The DA’s were able to download off of his computer digital files with children who were under the age of 16, CBS reports.

If convicted, he faces a maximum prison sentence of 7 years.
