After saying she was off to bigger and better things, Nene Leakes is reportedly returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta!
Having just booked the role of Matron Mamma Morton in Chicago on Broadway, one would think Nene was too busy to take a step backwards, but apparently not!
According to Love B.Scott a source close to production spilled this tea about what’s going on behind the scenes:
“Bravo was really worried about the series without NeNe, which is why they brought Sheree back for a few episodes. Two new housewives have been a major disappointment. They already got rid of Tammy McCall and Kim fields has been boring as f*ck.“
So the network made Nene “a very lucrative offer” to return for several episodes. The ladies are currently on their annual trip, this time to Jamaica and Nene made her surprise appearance during a dinner scene. The source also said, “Kenya was even speechless — and that never happens!”
The added shock value will definitely get viewers to tune in. We wonder if this was Nene and Bravo’s plan all along? Season 8 of RHOA premieres Sunday, November 8th!
