President’s Wife Of The Cardinals Volunteers To Pay For Jamyla Bolden’s Funeral
The people of Ferguson have gathered together to mourn the tragic death of nine-year-old Jamyla Bolden. Bolden died Tuesday night after she was shot by a perpetrator standing outside of her home. Bolden was lying on her bed doing her homework at the time of the shooting.
Yesterday, Ira DeWitt, the wife of Bill DeWitt III, the president of the St. Louis Cardinals, announced that she will pay for Bolden’s funeral to help her family at this time. Bolden’s father, James Bolden, thanks the DeWitt family for their generosity and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Jamyla leaves behind her father, mother and a brother.
