Solange, girl, I love you. You’re eternally one of my fashion inspirations, but what happened here?
At the Marcelo Burlon & Moet Nectar Rose Launch, the singer donned a Toni Maticevski cutout dress. While I appreciate her fashion choices and I’m always here for interesting cuts, this look is not working for me.

I think it’s the strange silver flap hanging over the dress that kills it. It looks undone and messy. Perhaps that was intentional, but messy is still messy.
I’m not mad at that body at all though!

I’m sure it took tons of makeup to achieve this “no makeup” look, but it’s not helping either. The bold lip and the eye make her look a little tired, which only adds to my problems with the look.
