Costello Taliapietra took us on a journey out of the woods and landed on the runway! Their Fall collection gave us chic new ways to think about how to wear our warm flannel fabrics with its full array of plaids paired effortlessly with flowing silk skirts, tailored slacks, scarves and extra wide suspenders. It’s no wonder designers Jeffrey & Robert are referred to as the “lumberjacks of fashion”.
Embroidered tops and silk dresses gave a nice feminine spin to a traditionally masculine fabric. Best in Show? A three-piece crepe suit over a plaid blouse with over sized jacket collar in heather grey.
