Drake just can’t shake the label of being a “sensitive” rapper. No matter what kind of tracks he drops, he just can’t get away from the stigma. Even after Drake left his onscreen persona Jimmy Brooks behind in the Canadian teen drama Degrassi, fans and critics alike accuse him of being emotional even when he’s not. During Christmas dinner, Drake’s mom Sandi decided to clue everyone in via Instagram on why her son’s viewed to constantly be all in his feelings. According to Mama Drizzy:
It’s not that you cry at all. I’ve never seen you cry on stage or even when the two of us are just together.

The “Worst Behavior” rapper’s mom goes on to explain Drake being in tune with his emotions is another reason why people feel as though he’s always in a corner somewhere weeping. Graham remarked:
They don’t think you cry. They would imagine that you would be a person that would cry because you are a sensitive soul.
