Idris Elba Suffers Asthma Attack On His Way To Film Premiere
Idris Elba was on his way to the South African premiere of his film “Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom,” when he suffered an asthma attack and had to be removed from the aircraft before it left the UK. Elba was admitted to the hospital where is reportedly recovering and in well condition.
Elba was a choice pick for the role of Mandela. He will star opposite side Bond-girl Naomie Harris, who plays Nelson’s wife, Winnie in the award-winning film. “Long Walk To Freedom” snagged the Audience Favorite Feature at The Aspen Film festival in October. It is slated to hits theaters November 29.
