Wanda Sykes Lands Comedy Special On OWN
Wanda Sykes is coming to the Oprah Winfrey Network.
According to reports, the network just greenlighted two, hour-long comedy specials starring the Emmy Award-winning comedienne, titled “Wanda Sykes Presents HERLARIOUS.”

Set to air next month, the specials are scheduled to include funnywomen Andi Smith, Gloria Bigelow, Marina Franklin, Tracey Ashley, Carmen Lynch and Dominique Witten.
Sources say the show will be taped at the former “The Oprah Winfrey Show” studio with a live audience. Sykes will host and produce the project though her Sykes and Page Hurwitz’s Push It Prods company.
We heard through grapevine that the first guest appearance will be by OWN reality star and comedienne Kym Whitley.
