Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry stay winning!
Last night, Perry’s “The Haves and The Have Nots” premiered on OWN with a whopping 1.77 million viewers, making the new scripted-series the network’s highest rated debut.

With back-to-back premieres, the show reached a peak of 1.8 million viewers by the time the second episode aired at 10 p.m. According to reports, OWN averaged “251,000 viewers in primetime, so Tuesday’s premiere audience is about seven times that.”
“The Haves and The Have Nots” centers around the complicated dynamic between the powerful and wealthy Cryer family and the hired help in their Georgia mansion.
Tonight, Perry’s new comedy “Love Thy Neighbor” will debut with back-to-back episodes from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Will you be tuning in?
