“The View’s” Elizabeth Hasselbeck Takes On Shirley Sherrod [VIDEO]

Shirley Sherrod appeared last week on The View and was met with some sharp questions. But the former public servant, still at the heart of controversy, was quick to rebut, especially in relation to the comments about race directed to her by none-other than Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

It’s no wonder The View continues to enjoy some of television’s strongest ratings statistics. Since a record breaking 6.2 million viewers tuned into watch the show the day after Obama won the 2008 presidential election, ratings have soared to even stronger heights. And it clearly has to do with the show’s cast and guest lineup: The conservative Elizabeth Hasselbeck, the outspoken Rosie O’Donnell (former cast member), Whoopi Goldberg, and the 80-year-old media powerhouse Barbara Walters, as well as guests like the Obamas.

    You tell her Shirly, make her put her feet right where they belong in her big racist mouth. It is obvious that Elizabeth is anti-black, I wish I was a fly on the wall at her house so we can really here the n-bombs flow because we all no she hates blacks.

    I can usually ‘shoo-shoo’ someone & not let them have an effect on me but in this particular circ**stance one of the main reasons I stopped watching THE VIEW because of Elizabeth. I love the Hot Topics & would record the but she has made that less enjoyable. Noone wants to debate or defend every point they make. And that is what position Elizabeth put guests in. If someone feels a certain way, that’s them they shouldn’t have to explain everything, and the fact that they feel this way should be celebrated because we are all individuals. I have no problems with her views but she seems to have a problem with those that differ from hers. Heck I can only imagine what her husband must go through.

    BTW President Obama is scheduled to be on tomorrow – 07/29/10.

    Elizabeth seems to have a problem with those that differ from her………If someone feels a certain way, that’s them they shouldn’t have to explain everything….White people are the ones that started all of the racial crap…this has been going on for years…and now its comin out b/c white people can’t seem to control their big mouths….and on the Media, talk show ..its so bad it slips out in every way….lol…thats why their azz are so up in arms….This mess has always been in and within them….So it is what it alway was…

    I’m not surprised. She is just on there for ratings though. She is nothing but a female O’Reilly.
    I personally wanna slap the shyt out of her… I wish she’d stay home and take care of all those babies she keeps popping out year after year.Can you imagine how warped her kids minds are going to be??? I can see many a azz kickins those kids will endure if they go around ppl talkin that shyt. But knowing her, she’d have her kids in an exsclusive white school or something. I dont like her,.!!!     The biggest problem is, people DON’t understand what taking something out of context means. When you play 10secs of a 43min speech, then try to make that appear that’s the speakers sentiment is disingenuous. This is the world of MEDIA and happens all the way around. Dems do it to Reps and vice versa. Don’t be mad at Elizabeth Hasselback for doing what the staff at Zeronews and HelloBullshyt do every single day!!!!

    The Media functions on sound bytes and taken quotes without providing proper context. It’s easier to sensationalize headlines when you do it that way…

Anyway, I like Elizabeth because she speaks how she feels (not all the time I agree with her) but,she’s real.
