Actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell has joined the cast of HBO’s True Blood. In this role she will play a series regular named Nicole. Her character seems to be on the straight and narrow and is described as a “wide-eye character who is not concerned with money and more concerned with the common good and doing what’s right”.

This sounds like a 180 from Smollett-Bell’s character in Tyler Perry’s Temptation, where she plays a marriage counselor who cheats on her husband. It’s a scandalous love affair that will surely be one to watch when it debuts March 29. Will you be packing the theaters?
