First Lady Michelle Obama has just a year before she makes her exit from the White House with President Barack Obama, but she already knows the first thing she’d like to do.

During her sit-down at The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, FLOTUS shared her plan to continue her programs on education reform for girls. On Tuesday, Michelle was seen spreading the word of girl power and ambition with actress Charlize Theron at Glamour’s “The Power of an Educated Girl” presentation in New York City.

She’s also lending her voice to Disney’s Doc McStuffins for the special Doc McStuffins Goes to Washington, to be aired on the network on Oct. 5.

But what is the First Lady’s biggest plan for her White House exit?

A trip to Target and some fresh air.

From the Hollywood Reporter

“I also want to do little things like, you know, open a window,” she said to much applause. “I want to go to Target! I want to drive!”

Besides entertaining Colbert’s suggestion of a canister of fresh air, she recalled, “One day, as a treat, my lead agent let me have the windows open on the way to Camp David. It was like five minutes out, and he said, ‘The window’s open — enjoy it!’”

The retail chain heard her loud and clear. Shortly after her interview, the folks at Target made Michelle a customized shopping cart filled with goodies.

We’re going to miss Michelle so much.
