Dylann Roof Faces Possible Execution For Charleston Shooting

A state prosecutor in the Mother Emanuel case is seeking the death penalty against the alleged shooter behind the massacre, Dylann Roof. Roof has already been indicted twice for the killings in state and federal court. Scarlett A. Wilson, the SC state solicitor looking over the case, commented saying that not all of the victims’ families agreed with filing for the death penalty due to their religious views, but said that prosecuting authorities went ahead out of interest in establishing consequences for Roof’s alleged actions.
