After assembling all of his rapper friends for the press conference of the century and making us pay $9.99 to watch Beyonce and Nicki Minaj be flawless in Flawless, Jay Z is allegedly walking away from TIDAL.

According to reports, Birdman’s $50 million lawsuit against the streaming service was the straw that broke the camel’s back. *No Pun Intended*

Birdman sued TIDAL after it released Wayne’s album FWA when they own the rights to his music. While we’re taking this rumor with a grain of salt, we can see Jigga jumping ship. He’s a businessman and with TIDAL not doing well as projected, he won’t keep investing money into a sinking ship.

We were never here for TIDAL, so it makes us no never mind.

UPDATE:Tidal says rumors of Jay Z leaving the company are untrue. They sent a few tweets to various media companies to let them know the rumors were false.
