It looks like Mariah Carey has officially moved on from her soon-to-be ex-husband Nick Cannon (and he’s apparently done the same). The “Infinty” singer was spotted booed up with Australian billionaire James Packer in Italy.

Months ago it was rumored that Mariah was dating her longtime friend Brett Ratner, but Brett is actually business partners with Packer and may have who hooked them up.

The real question is Packer an upgrade or a downgrade from Nick Cannon? Let’s see.

Exhibit A: Who Looks Better?

When it comes to the looks department, Nick Cannon has James Packer beat by a mile.

Exhibit B: Who Has The Bigger Bank Account?

While Packer can’t compete with Nick’s pecs, Packer’s pockets are packing. According to Forbes, Packer is worth $4.7 Billion. That’s billion with capital B. He inherited his late father’s business is 2005. He pocketed an extra $1 billion when he sold Consolidated Media Holdings to News Corp. Packer and Ratner own the entertainment company Rat Pac. He’s also been divorced twice.

Nick Cannon isn’t short-stopping either. He may not have inherited a billion dollar business but he has built quite an empire for himself. The International Business Times reports his net-worth at $20 million. Not only does he host the TV favorite America’s Got Talent and Wild N Out, he is also the chairman of TeenNick, and runs his own radio show.

Not that Mariah ever needs a man to take care of her but we aren’t mad at her choice for a new boo. Mariah Carey has a $510 million fortune, but even that won’t keep you warm at night.

What say you readers? Who is the better match for Mimi?
