It looks like momager Kris Jenner will have to find a new way to invade our lives because her self-titled talks show has been cancelled.
According to a statement released by Fox on Friday, “‘Kris’ will not be on the schedule for the 2014 syndication season. However, the possibility for the talk show, or an additional project for Kris Jenner, for the 2015 season is being discussed and highly considered.”
“Kris didn’t quite make a splash with its six-week run, coming out about even (0.8 in HH metered markets) with last year’s time period and with its lead-in,” Deadline reported. “It had a strong finish, with the finale featuring Jenner’s son-in-law-to-be Kanye West debuting the first photo of his daughter with Kim Kardashian North West, notching a series-high 1.7 household rating.”
According to RadarOnline, the news did not come as a surprise to the mother of six. “Kris has been told her talk show is not going to happen. Viewers just tuned out and genuinely don’t want to see her on daytime television, in any format,” the site reported.
But it doesn’t seem like the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star is letting the bad news get her down. She was recently spotted partying with Tina Knowles at her 50th birthday party in New Orleans.
