Kim Zolciak has a reason to sing and dance because the “Tardy for the Party” lawsuit is over and she won!
As we reported earlier, Kandi Burress sued her former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” costar back in March to receive her rightful portion of the song’s profits. Kandi, who produced the hit record, claimed Kim “hoarded profits” and used the song without her consent.
In response, Kim called Kandi’s lawsuit “a publicity stunt” to promote her Bravo spinoff show “The Kandi Factory.”
According to reports, the judge ruled in Kim’s favor, agreeing that the suit was just a publicity stunt to promote the now-canceled realityseries.
Kim shared her thoughts on the judge’s ruling with her Twitter 744,000 followers. “The truth always prevails,” she wrote. “Revenge can be bitter sweet but if you sit back and watch karma it can be pure entertainment.”

1. 1. Kim Zolciak’s craziest ‘RHOA’ moments
She’s not officially gone, but Kim Zolciak is stepping away from the spotlight of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" for season 5. The mother of four, new wife and sometimes singer will be popping up to support her former co-stars, but fans doubt it will be the same. What will viewers be missing? Take a look back at some of Kim’s most memorable moments to find out. Take a look. –Kimberley Glascoe
2. 2. Sheree straightens Kim’s wig
And the gloves are off! When the usual name-calling tactics didn’t work, Sheree Whitfield took it to the streets, and tried to put a spin move on Kim’s fake tresses. While the two clearly didn’t always see eye to eye, the ladies’ friendship grew stronger. By season 4, they were practically BFFs, commonly united against NeNe Leakes.
3. 3. Kim’s engagement to a married man
Kim turned heads when she showed up with a huge rock on her ring finger in 2009. She explained that she was engaged to secret lover Big Poppa, although he was still married. Hmm…
4. 4. Kim dips into the lady pond
This “one-time deal” relationship, as Kim put it, caught everyone by surprise in 2010 when she revealed she was dating DJ Tracy Young, the woman who remixed Kim’s “Don’t be Tardy for the Party” pop track.
5. 5. Kim’s weight loss strategies
Now, if free beer failed to help Kim shed the pounds, she had a few backup ideas for losing weight! She underwent lasers to burn the excess fat off her body, while chomping down on a slice of pizza. That was followed by body wrapping.
6. 6. Tardy with the payment
Fellow "RHOA" cast member Kandi Burruss took the country song, "Don’t Be Tardy for the Party" and turned it and Kim into overnight pop sensations. The song reached number three on iTunes music charts. However, the collaboration resulted in a rift between Kandi and Kim.
7. 7. Kim and Sweetie’s workout
Kim and her assistant/friend Sweetie Hughes understand the importance of working out and found a plan that worked out just right for the two of them. After some light jogging, they scored some free beer from a delivery man. Although Kim temporarily terminated Sweetie’s employment, the two never quit being friends.
8. 8. Baby KJ arrives
Baby number three for Kim came as a surprise, but now, just a year old himself, KJ Biermann is a big brother. KJ was the first boy for Kim, and hubby Kroy’s first child. "RHOA" cameras tagged along for KJ’s baby shower.
There was already lingering tension between Kandi Burruss and Kim Zolciak before the cast trip to South Africa. Kim didn’t travel, so she was forced to rely on hearsay, and that’s when Black baby-gate erupted. Kim’s friend, Sheree Whitfield, drove an even bigger wedge between these musically-connected friends, but Kim and Kandi tried to work things out.
10. 10. Kim vs. NeNe
Often at odds, the two’s on again-off again friendship became obsolete after an altercation on a tour bus during season 3. NeNe Leakes joined Kim and other cast mates when a conversation about Kim’s assistant Sweetie Hughes turned ugly. The two have yet to reconcile.
