Teairra Mari isn’t giving up without a fight.  At least that’s the impression I was given from the former “Princess of the Roc.”  After being dropped from Roc-A-Fella Records, Mari has reappeared with a new label, new look, and new sound.   HelloBeautiful met with Teairra Mari and learned about her new album  titled “At this Point.”

“My look and sound for this album is street, but still sweet.  I’m definitely a girly-girl, but I’m rough around the edges,” said the petite bombshell.

Fans can expect on October 20th to hear the sweet side of Teairra Mari in melodic tracks such as “Lucky” and “Diamonds” featuring Kanye West.  Let’s just say diamonds don’t always last forever in Christina Milian’s world.  The mini-divas supposedly had a catfight over the track originally written by Milian.

“I really had to fight for that song. When I first heard it Kanye was mumbling over it.  I loved the track and I just kept fighting for it and I did the song and kanye laid his verse again,” said Mari.
