Your bedroom is the first thing you see when you wake up every morning. It sets the tone for the rest of your day, so why would you want to open your eyes to clutter? Here are some quick tips to help get rid of clutter in your bedroom:

Arrange your night table. Display items such as an alarm clock, a vase, a book (or a small stack of books),candles and some small framed photographs. Don’t overdo it though or it will feel crowded.

Declutter the dresser. Keep your underwear in the top drawer, and place heavier clothing in the bottom ones.

Install drawer dividers. Make the most of drawer space, by installing dividers, which make organizing small items like underwear, bras, and socks or stockings a breeze. Stores like Ikea and T.J. Maxx have inexpensive ones that won’t break the bank.

Utilize under-the-bed space. Store out-of-season clothes and bulky items like sweaters in plastic containers. You can also store heavy winter blankets in large plastic containers for extra protection. Be sure to clean all clothing and blankets before storing.
