"When we talk about prison reform, we are also discussing and taking it to heart that people who are incarcerated need to have a way to survive outside of prison," says Dascha Polanco.
"As long as the decision makers still view us in a certain way, I think we still have a bit of a pushback in what is conventionally beautiful."
