VH1’s new series “Love & Hip Hop” follows five women who share one common bond: their connection to the hip-hop world…through their men and their careers.
This 8-part series stars Mashonda (Swizz Beatz’ ex-wife and mother to their son), Emily (Fabolous’ on-off girlfriend of 8 years & mother to their son), Chrissy (Jim Jones’ girlfriend of 6 years), Olivia (the former first lady of G-Unit) and Somaya, an aspiring female rapper from the West Coast.
We’ll be watching as Mashonda overcomes a public divorce, Emily and Chrissy navigate their relationships while still maintaining a sense of self, and Somaya and Olivia struggle to break through as artists in the male-dominated hip-hop industry.
