1. Willow Smith- “Sugar & Spice”

No 12-year-old should be this sad. Willow Smith released her latest single “Sugar & Spice” and there is nothing sweet about the lyrics: “I try to be sugar and spice, but I’m melancholy and can’t do anything right,” she sings. “The monsters under my bed keep making noise at night. I just want silence, but I can’t try this.” Willow seems like she’s calling out for help. Are we listening?

2. Wale Ft. Tiara Thomas “Bad”

“Is it bad I never made love?,” asks Tiara Thomas. Well that’s relative, but after listening to “Bad” you will want to! MMG’s poetic lyricist Wale teamed up with Tiara Thomas for sensual ballad that feels like a late summer night. The single is featured on his mixtape “Folarin,” which was released before Christmas. NecoleBitchie caught up with Wale who said this about the steamy track “Bad is about a girl that’s good in bed but she’s not good for you. She’s just down for sex. Or it can be either way. The guy, he’s just down for sex. It’s a natural thing that happens with humans. We gravitate towards things that we don’t need or the we know is not good for us. Especially when the physical is more prominent than other aspects of the relationship. The sex is so good that it overpowers everything else that is going on in the relationship.”

3. Eve- “She Bad Bad”

That’s the great thing about music videos, they make you like the song even if you thought it was “Bad Bad” before. Eve returns to the rap game after more than a decade with “She Bad Bad,” something for the ladies! The upbeat single is the first off her forthcoming album “Lip Lock.” Eve isn’t going to let a little baby bump stop her from reclaiming her spot. But if she wants to dethrone Nicki or at least join her in the royal court, she’s going to have to come a lot harder! It may be time to switch up the flow.
